BOOK REPORT TIC-TACK-TOE!  

January - May

·        Each month students are to read a grade level book. 

·        After reading the book they are to create a book-report for that book. 

·        They can choose any of the activities on the TIC-TACK-TOE card below. 

·        They need to get three in a row.

Write a newspaper article about what happened in your story.	Make a shoebox diorama. Show characters & setting. Write title on the box.	Make a game-board about your story.  Make-up game cards & game pieces that go along with the story.
Make a treasure map of your story.  Include title and characters.	Summary Paper: retell the main points of the story include the characters.  Minimum of 5 paragraphs.	Make a puppet of the main character of your book.  Be able to give short summary in 1st person.
Create a new country for your story.  Create a flag to go with the country.	Make a mobile.  Use a hanger and show characters and items that relate to the story.	Make a book jacket for your book.   Write a short description of the story on the inside flap. Include a bio about you!
